Dresscode

Optional Welcome Dinner

If you’re arriving the day before, we’d love for you to join us. There's no dress code here, think a casual garden party. We’ll start with late afternoon drinks around 6pm. The evening will feature toasts on the rooftop of the Donjon, followed by pizza on the Château terrace.

Wedding Day

The dress code is (optional) Black Tie.

Gentlemen, a classic tuxedo is ideal for the occasion. However, if that’s not possible, a sharp black or dark suit with a bowtie or tie is a perfectly acceptable alternative.

Ladies, come as your most glamorous self. Embrace the elegance of black-tie with long, flowing gowns that capture the beauty of the French countryside. Let your look reflect the charm of the region with a color palette inspired by its natural surroundings. Draw inspiration from summer sky blues, the greens of rolling vineyards, the golden tones of sunflower fields, soft lavender hues, blush rose pinks, and creamy neutrals reminiscent of the château’s timeless setting.

Your Questons

Here are some answers to frequently asked questions if you need any more information don't hesitate to contact us.

Where is the wedding taking place?
The ceremony and reception will be held at Château du Crazanne, located at 24 Rue du Château, 17350 Crazannes, France
The château is approximately 45 minutes from La Rochelle, 20 minutes from Saintes, and 1.30 hours from Bordeaux.

Do I need to come to the Welcome Dinner and Pool Day?

We’d absolutely love for you to be there for both parts of the celebration. That said, it’s totally optional, no pressure at all. We know travel plans can be tricky, so just come along if it works for you. Everyone’s welcome.

How do I get to the venue?

We recommend renting a car for convenience, as it provides the easiest access to the venue. Taxis are also an option, especially if you're staying nearby but they are costly in this part of France. If you fly into La Rochelle we highly recommend hiring a car as it's a small airport. You can rent a car at the airport or get a bus into the city to rent one there.

The nearest major town, Saintes, has a train station with connections to Bordeaux. We will be organising a taxi for people staying nearby at the end of the night on Wednesday, please let us know where you're staying when you book so we can accommodate this.

Where should I stay?

Please refer to the "Accommodation" section on our website for a list of recommended places near the venue.

Should I bring a gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift. However, if you'd like to contribute, we have a registry website where you can support us as we embark on our next chapter together.

What are the bridesmaids wearing?

Shades of champagne â€‹

Can I bring a plus one?
We have planned for all our invited guests, but if you’d like to bring someone, please let us know. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Are children welcome?

Absolutely! Children are more than welcome to join us. Please let us know if they’ll be attending so we can inform the chef and make any necessary arrangements.

What happens if I can't make it?

We're so sorry if you suddenly can't attend. Please let us know ASAP, we have a list of people that we'd like to invite so giving us notice means we can reach out to invite them
